  1. General Rules

  3. 1. Do not do anything which can harm the server or disrupt the quality of others' gameplay.

  5. 3. Do not intentionally annoy / harass anybody for any reason.

  7. 4. Do not abuse bugs an exploits. Report any bugs or abusers to admins.

  9. 5. Do not prop climb, surf, kill, block, bridge or spam.
  10.  
  11. 6. Do not kill, build, or park cars in the spawn areas.

  13. 7. Do not mic spam. (Playing music, screaming, obnoxiously singing)
  14.  
  15. 8. No racism\Bigotry\Homophobic remarks towards anybody for any reason.

  17. 9. Use triple slash “ /// “ space to contact an admin. Do not use /ooc or /advert !
  18.  
  19. 10. Try to solve petty disputes BEFORE calling an admin.
  20.  
  21. 11. Do not spawn props in other peoples bases
  22.  
  23. New Life Rule ( NLR )
  24.  
  25. When you die, you begin a new life. You Forget everything from your past life.You cannot return to your previous location for a minimum of 5 minutes

  27. If you were killed during a raid, you cannot return to that place until the raid is complete.
  28.  
  29. Fail Role Playing ( Fail RP )
  30.  
  31. Fail Role Playing is doing something Roleplay wise that goes against your job description.

  33. An Example of FailRP would be a police officer killing the mayor, a gun dealer raiding, hobos owning doors. If it's not written or implied about whether you can or can’t do something, it's best to NOT do it and ask an admin for input. Things said in Out Of Character (OOC) chat cannot be used for RP purposes, ever.

  35. Random Death Match ( RDM )

  37. Random Death Match is where someone kill without any valid Roleplaying reason.

  39. Always have a valid role-play reason for killing someone. i.e. Raiding, Mugging, Hits

  41. Killing someone should be a last resort, try and find a creative RP solution first.
  42.  
  43. Do NOT go around randomly punching people (this is known as punch whoring).

  45. MetaGaming
  46.  
  47. What we define as metagaming is using outside RP things for RP things.This can includes using things said in OOC for RP purpose.

  49. Example being using ooc for arrests warrants wanted etc. It also includes using things from a past life for RP.You cant remember things after you die for the most part. See NLR Above.

  51. Fading Door Abuse ( FDA )
  52.  
  53. All ways use your keypads to open fading doors.
  54.  
  55. Do not use your keyboard to open your fading doors.
  56.  
  57. Do not use a Button to toggle faded props to shoot through them. (i.e. faded windows)
  58.  
  59. Roleplay Specific Rules
  60.  
  61. 1.     Do not abuse your job to kill people or create FailRP scenarios
  62.  
  63. 2.     Never avoid role-play scenarios. (Ex:, disconnecting, switching jobs, suicide.)

  65. 3.     Do not switch jobs just to buy/spawn yourself items. (Self Supplying)
  66.  
  67. 4.     Wars, revolutions and server wide RDM fests will not be tolerated.
  68.  
  69. 5.   Do not hide printers/drugs in props where they cannot be accessed
  70.  
  71. 6.   No Property Whoring. Do Not buy up multiple buildings unless part of a gang.
  72.  
  73. 7. Stealing is allowed. If you drop a shipment on the ground in public or in unowned building, you are take a chance of it being stolen. You do not have to advert anything to steal something from public.

  75. Raiding/Mugging Rules
  76.  
  77. 1.     It must state that you can raid/mug in your job description to do so..
  78.  
  79. 2.     You Can Only Mug/Raid Once every 5 minutes. The cool down starts after the last one is finished.
  80.  
  81. 3.     Do NOT Mug/Raid the same person/place more than once every 15 minutes.
  82.  
  83. 4.     You must /Advert whenever you raid,mug.
  84.  
  85. 5.     You must /Advert when the raid is complete
  86.  
  87. 6.     You must /Advert Raid before breaking into a base.
  88.  
  89. 7.     No Solo Raiding. Unless your jobdescription  says you can solo raid, you must have a group of 2 to raid anything.
  90.  
  91. 8.     You cannot raid a base with a “building” sign. People shouldn't have anything worth losing in their base until their base is done.
  92.  
  93. 9. Do not camp or hangout in a base that you are raiding, get in and get out. Call an admin if you think someone is taking too long.
  94.  
  95. 10. Do not mug someone for more than $5,000
  96.  
  97. 11. Do Not build or spawn Props while raiding or being raided.
  98.  
  99. Car Jacking
  100.  
  101. You class Must be able to MUG inorder to car jack
  102.  
  103. You can car jack every 5 minutes. You must /advert CarJack before you lockpick or entering the car.
  104.  
  105. If your car is stolen do NOT spawn another car. You must reacquire your stolen car before spawning another car.
  106. Do not carjack people at the car dealer.
  107. Combat Specific Rules
  108.  
  109. You can kill People for these reasons
  110.  
  111. Valid RP reason: Mugging,Raiding,Hit,Arrest
  112.  
  113. They cross a KOS line
  114.  
  115. They are posing an immediate threat to you i.e. Threatening to kill you at gunpoint
  116.  
  117. They are attacking you or a member of your group
  118.  
  119. You may NOT kill people for these reasons:
  120.  
  121. Randomly without a valid RP reason
  122.  
  123. For standing in the street near your base
  124.  
  125. For Loitering on the sidewalk near your base
  126.  
  127. Because they killed your friend
  128.  
  129. Because they are breaking NLR
  130.  
  131. They are following you around. Call the Cops and get a restraining order from a lawyer.
  132.  
  133. Building Specific Rules
  134.  
  135. 1.     All Fading Doors Must Have A Visible Keypad Near BOTH sides of the door.
  136.  
  137. 2.     All Keypads must be reachable ,crackable, Have atleast a 5 second hold time, & Go to something (no fakes).
  138.  
  139. 3.     Must be able to enter and exit base without crouching or jumping. (i.e. No Death tunnels)
  140.  
  141. 4.     No Walls that Come Down to players Knees so you can shoots their feet but they can’t see you
  142.  
  143. 5.    No Using One way viewable shootable props or prop combinations.
  144.  
  145. 6.     No using No-Collided Props to run in and out of to shoot people. Do not abuse no-collided props
  146.  
  147. 7.   No Stacking Faded doors or Kill boxes.
  148.  
  149. 8.   No Building in public areas (Hobos,DJs can)
  150.  
  151. 9.   Do Not block off or build in the tunnels or on the Race Track.
  152.  
  153. 10.   No Faded Stairs, Ramps, or Walkways
  154.  
  155. 11.   KOS signs should not be more than a Foot from your base (1x1 Plate for Reference)
  156.  
  157. 12.   No Invisible / blacked out Mazes
  158.  
  159. 13. Do not use a combination of props,color effects, and or materials to create Unfair seeing Advantages in your base design. i.e. using 1 way viewable props or prop combination to preaim and shoot threw a matted fence or other shoot-through-able props.

  161. Arrest/Warranting Specific Rules

  163. You may arrest someone if:
  164.  
  165. You see them break a law that is listed on the current law board
  166.  
  167. You saw them Kill Someone
  168.  
  169. They are Raiding or Mugging Someone
  170.  
  171. If they are visibly possessing a contraband item
  172.  
  173. They are in an AOS area
  174.  
  175. If the subject is fleeing from an interrogation
  176.  
  177. Always try to arrest before you kill. It takes one swing to put them in jail.
  178.  
  179. Do NOT arrest someone if
  180.  
  181. They are a certain job. i.e. Do not AOS Hobos because they are hobos.
  182.  
  183. They are Trash Talking
  184.  
  185. They are breaking a Law thats against server rules.
  186.  
  187. They are standing near a crime scene
  188.  
  189. They are standing in the PD lobby
  190.  
  191. They just killed you. That is Breaking NLR
  192.  
  193. For breaking a Server Rule, Contact an Admin instead
